hallelujah (beyond the acceptance)

i will smile.
i will celebrate your life.
i will read all six of jane austen's novels. and both of her short stories.
i will save my money. as scrupulously as possible.
i will run more.
i will get in shape. and keep it.
i will learn contemporary dance.
i will try out for as many plays as my work schedule will allow.
i will find a new job.
i will hike more, and camp more.
i may even learn to ride a bike properly.
i will keep a written journal. for propriety's sake.
i will speak up more.
i will not hesitate. on anything.
i will stay up late.
i will get up earlier.
i will take shorter showers.
i will laugh more.
i will care more.
i will remind myself of my motivation.
i will complete every task with determination and enthusiam.
i will choose my friends wisely.
i will be friendly with everyone.
i will pick my battles.
i will realize i cannot pick whom i fall for.
i will be more open.
i will praise Him, and come to him more in times of need.
i will pay attention in my classes.
i will rarely sleep in, and not mope around my house for hours.
i will have a schedule so filled i won't have time to sleep in or mope around my house for hours.
i will take my vitamin d everyday.
i will spend at least thirty minutes of every day outdoors.
i will eat a bigger breakfast, a good-sized lunch, and a smaller dinner.
i will drink less caffeine.
i will watch my spending.
i will complain less.
i will always keep my goals in mind.
i will be a better listener.
i will break out the old violin every once and a while.
i will not skip classes.
i will listen to more smashing pumpkins. and vitamin string quartet.
i will take more pictures of everything.
i will save up for a camera, if i am to make any big purchases this year.
i will apply for every scholarship and every piece of financial aid i qualify for.
i will not give in to pressure to drink. or get high. or anything related to either.
i will save my real affections for the one i deem worthy enough. (and who has approval by friends and family, of course.)
i will wear more of my earrings.
i will clear the clutter in my room.
i will audition for gypsy in the spring.
i will, maybe, find some guy to kiss at midnight on new year's.
i will embrace more. everything.
i will live more fully, and love more fiercely.
i will pray more.
i will write more to eky, and send her more pictures.
i will watch the sun rise some day, from the top of anything.
i will watch the sun set.
i will find every constellation i can.
i will share what i need to, and whatever i can hash out alone, i will keep to myself.
i will keep those secrets that wouldn't hurt anyone if they were kept.
i will judge silently, but not prejudice anyone because of my judgments.
i will talk more to my mom, and call my dad.
i will not take anything for granted.
i will take joy in every new day.
i will celebrate my life.
i will smile.

i will always keep you close.
