and this pattern seems to be unfolding slowly like one of my badly made origami cranes i made in the seventh grade; but wouldn't that mean it was folded up tight? that would make more sense, though.

i would have said that any doubts that anyone (who knew) had about this entire thing could be put in the corner with their noses against the wall, shrinking in humiliation. the doubts have learned to talk back. they're pretty resiliant when they want to be.
