1111

This place is smaller. My room is smaller, my bathroom is smaller and has no showerhead, and there is no actual carpeting in the living room or kitchen.

But, I now live with one of my dearest friends, which has proven to be a huge plus in the six days I've lived here so far.

Today, Stephanie, Natalie, and I finally finished cleaning the entire house. My parents and I had scrubbed, dusted, vacuumed and spackled every inch of the upstairs, and my dad nearly drove himself crazy cleaning our oven. But it's clean, probably cleaner than when Stephanie first moved in, she reckons, and I gave her my key today. It was weird, because it had been less than a year since I'd officially moved in there, but I'm going to have to get used to this for the next couple of years, I guess.

One of the many cool things about this house (besides the fact that our third is not here yet--HA!) is that there's more cooking going on. We've discovered a mutual love for couscous and reading nooks and space. And work is less than a minute's walk away. And Doctor Who is revered. And many other things.

I'm already starting to love it here. Here's to hoping that doesn't change. And here's to change.
