o.j. and moonshine, inc.

"You don't want to know the answer to that." Oh, brother.

I stayed up until four in the morning on Friday finally watching "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," which I had never seen before, was told I must watch, and which is now among my top five favorite flicks. Simply and wildly beautiful.

I stayed up until five in the morning on Saturday handwriting a letter that I can't send until Tuesday. I promise the stationery for the next letter will be better (I know already wrote it on the other side, but I think I spelled "stationery" incorrectly). But heads up. I don't know how long it'll take to get there, but just so you know, my address finally changes on the 22nd.

I stayed up until six in the morning on Sunday drinking light, homemade screwdrivers (which, comparing to a night earlier this week, do not get you as drunk as orange juice, moonshine, and orange liquer), playing the stupidest game of Truth or Dare, and watching Arrested Development with someone else, and all along the way, finding out things that I may not have wanted to know. Eyes are windows to the soul, but inebriated mouths are the unlocked front doors, left ajar.

This morning, the dawning of our great nation's Independence Day, I will go to sleep soon after I am done writing, and sleep through the better part of the day, before getting up to get clean, get outfitted, and get going to work. And we won't talk anymore about this. Because you are like my brother. You seriously are. If my biological brother had ever gotten into theatre, he would've turned out like you.

This is not a big deal. I won't make it one. But I'd like to put these thoughts somewhere.
