absolutely freezing weather. in march, no less. i hate this valley. but i hope this means march will go out like a lamb and the transition into april will be sunny and calm.
due to the fact that we're demolishing and remodeling our kitchen for the next two months or so, we've been eating off of card tables and drinking out of sippy cups. i have to say it's not all that bad, i actually enjoy the simplicity of it. on the other hand, we'll be living mostly off of what we can pop in the microwave and nuke. when we're finally finished with this whole business, we agreed that we should eat only fruits and vegetables to make up for the numerous calories of frozen what-nots we've consumed. who says we won't keep the economy afloat, hm?
this is the last day of rest this week, however, and i'm glad for it. tomorrow night will be occupied with dancing, and the next night with rehearsal, and of course, the last three nights will encompass all that we've worked hard for in only twelve-plus rehearsals. it will all be worth it, i'm sure, to everyone, no matter how we do.
and i'd like to take ben g's suggestion and down a paper cup of wine, but grape juice will suit me for this hour. and for many illegal-age hours to come; i've got a ways, and i'm not going to give in like the rest of the demographic populace. i get drunk on words and whatever sounds brian aubert makes with his guitar. absolutely magical, both means.
