smells of flannel sheets and freshly baked waffles

this is crazy. i haven't written so much in so little time.

i am otherwise beneath my comforter, listening to not-as-recent-but-not-that-old athlete songs. looking outside at the snow that keeps. and keeps. and keeps. and keeps falling. seriously, God must be having mood swings everyday up there, because every time the snow falls, it melts away. except it's sticking this time. damn.

i am so glad i get to sleep in tomorrow. and the next day, due to advising.

i am not excited that the college administration thinks it's okay to cut crucial classes from the schedule due to "financial mishaps," when it's perfectly okay to pimp out an athlete transportation bus, which alone cost one hundred grand. oh, and it's also okay to keep building those new dorms for the athletes--even though they've never had a problem finding housing before. and to keep giving full scholarhips to a student senate which, or the majority of which, at least, is less involved with the actual student body than it might be involved in ritualistic sacrifices (maybe that's where all the money's going). seriously, i can count one member i've heard of doing more work than anyone. nearly all of them get full scholarhips, or half scholarships, and it's costing the school a good ten grand EVERY QUARTER. oh, but we can cut anthropology and math and english classes, we can always change the degree requirements! that's PERFECTLY ALL RIGHT!!

tell me how this works. tell me how this is fair. please, i'd love to know.

but the two hooved creatures we own must be wanting their dinner, so i'd better get.
