"pools of sorrow, waves of joy"

bad news first. which seems less troubling right now, but it looks like we may be a one car family for a while. this is what happens when you're poor. oh. well.

good news:

i could not be happier, and i could not be more honored.
two of my best friends are getting married, to each other, and i have been asked to be the maid of honor.
i am so happy right now, there are almost no words.

we all kind of knew this day would come when you two started going steady, we just didn't predict it would be so soon. congratulations to the both of you.

this is going to be a very happy christmas for all of us, no matter what, i believe.
