who doesn't follow obvious eye flicks and nods, but who obviously still listens to aftermath songs.

(even after the after-aftermath. what stage is this? it's too big for me to soliloquy your hearts out.)

..............

i like layering. during these cold months, it's best to have a few extra layers of cotton and whatnot hugging the form outlined by your humanoidly obligatory several layers of skin. although i just talked to a few people who recently arrived here from places where, last i checked, jackets weren't necessary. but california will never even coax a semi-permanent residence out of me and vietnam is simply out of the question at this point (i mean, i haven't even been to the rest of europe yet), so shush. it would be nice to not have to travel around an area where your biggest commuting issue is not when you get there, but what as (one whole piece is the goal--yours and the vehicle's). but i saw the value in it after dancing tonight, as i was cooling off, and now the yearning for my dream trip to iceland is strong enough for my elbow to ache at the thought of it.

and i try to ramble poetically about weather and preferred climates because the things i rambled about right before reaching my house about an hour ago probably set off the "why-the-hell-is-she-still-talking-about-this?-i-thought-she-was-done-with-that" neuron racing to the frontal lobe of katie's brain.

things do stay with me. dormant beasts. sleeping dogs lie, but slide and scramble to their paws to lick and savor the crumbs on the floor that have fallen from the table. disobedient, but loyal to that fault.

other than that, it was a great day.

..............

doomed.
you smell like cucumbers. beat it. go hound someone else. i can't howl long enough for you.

since when could i fit my arms all the way around you?
