my left calf hurts whenever i bend my knee.

but it was definitely all worth it.

i know i've said this before, but i will say it now because it's true: best dancing i've ever done last night. seriously. i learned so much at the workshop (and suzuki really helped as far as my posture went). i actually competed in a jack-and-jill contest, and was selected for the finals and placed fourth out of five. it was so awesome.

and then something completely unexpected happened.
something that shocked us both, i think.

the one person i thought about that i didn't think about on here...what are the odds? it turns out we have way more in common than we thought, and that he was thinking about me long before i started thinking about him in that way. and now we're starting...something. whatever happens, will happen. we're just here to enjoy it.

oh my goodness. this is how you should start a new year. exactly how. i am so pleasantly surprised. i am so happy.

funny how far around things can turn in a week, when you're not paying attention.
